- The Western Slope Metal Clay Artisans hosted
Hadar Jacobson April 10 & 11 , 2010 for a Mixed Metals Seminar.
We had a capacity attendance! It was a great weekend - learning so many new techniques and using new materials to create pieces. We all made so many new friends with people from the Four Corners Area, all up and down the Eastern Slope of Colorado, as well as from our local Western Slope area and the States of Mississippi and California. We literally broke in a brand new facility - blew a few breakers and dropped hot carbon on some new tables, but had a fabulous time.
- Several of our members attended a Robert Dancik seminar on Faux Bone in May and will be sharing our projects and new knowledge with our chapter members this summer.
- We will also be sending 2 representatives from our chapter to the PMC Conference at Purdue University in July.
