Our First Meeting

• Our first meeting on June 29, 2008 was an organizational meeting to go over the details of the chapter. Five members came to this meeting - Connie Bennett, Jennifer Grocer, Sara Matherly, Wendy Marsh & Dale Parker.
• Discussions were held on a variety of subjects concerning the club (mission statement, meeting schedules, club structure, dues, PMC Guild, our yahoo group, our website presence, community presence, etc.) The members present unanimously agreed on all items before the meeting adjourned at 5 pm, with the understanding that we would e-mail the other interested parties to get their feedback before making our decisions final. We all agreed that we wanted everyone's input on all topics of discussion, as much as possible.
• We did go ahead and set a schedule for our meetings, to be held every other month on the third Wednesday from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.
• Light refreshments were served.
• A brief tour of Connie's workshop/classroom was held at the end of the meeting.
