Cape Fear Metal Clay Artists is a group of talented local artisans that have come together to form the Fayetteville, NC Chapter of the PMC Guild. We are a group of metal clay artists and enthusiasts of all skill levels who have come together to form a group where we can share ideas, techniques, and product information about this exciting product known as precious metal clay. We welcome everyone to the group and want to thank you for your interest in enhancing your knowledge through us. We are an open and friendly group whose desire is to mutually share ideas and information.

The Fayetteville, NC Chapter of the PMC Guild is committed to educating its members in the applications and uses of precious metal clay. We encourage the sharing of information among our members to expand their knowledge of this wonderful, adaptable clay product. We are committed to each other and our community. Through education, demonstrations and workshops, we hope to expand our community's knowledge of precious metal clay - offering new techniques, tools and product demonstrations to all interested parties.

Our mission statement:

"The Fayetteville, NC Chapter of the PMC Guild is committed to providing inspirational education opportunities for the advancement of metal clay as an artistic medium. Our goal is to provide community workshops, train artists, educators and members in the art of metal clay and offer support to metal clay enthusiasts."

Our group meets every other month on the third Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Check the calendar on the discussion group at the beginning of every month to find the location of our next chapter meeting.

We also have several certified instructors in our group. Some of these ladies are already teaching metal clay classes in the Cape Fear Region. These classes will be posted to our individual PMC Guild member calendars as they are scheduled. Certified instructor members to date include Connie Bennett, Jennifer Grocer, Sara Matherly and Lee McMillan.

Our meetings include (but are not limited to) lectures, demos and hands on clay play activities. Light refreshments and tasty snacks are also offered. Everyone is encouraged to participate fully in the meeting - sharing their own unique ideas, the latest updates, special tips & tricks they've discovered and of course, show & tells.

Currently there are no membership dues to join the group. However, a minimal annual fee will be established to cover our expenses.
